To prepare you for peaceful civil disobedience actions with Extinction Rebellion, we are organising this action training. If you want to participate in actions that involves a risk of arrest, it is advisable to attend this action training. Moreover, it gives you the opportunity to learn about the next actions and to find out whether you want to participate in upcoming actions.

For everyone

This non-violent direct action (NVDA) training is suited and intended for everyone. People with few and no experience in peaceful civil disobedience actions are strongly recommended to follow this training. Also, people with experience are fully welcome to share their insights and experienced, to connect with new people and refresh their skills.

The programme

During the training we will prepare to stay safe during action, as well as to act effectively and efficiently. Special attention will be paid to explaining security risks, legal information, forming and working with “affinity groups”, and practicing specific action tactics. Of course, there will also be plenty of time for questions.
