Are you worried about the climate and biodiversity crises? Do you feel powerless in the face of powerful corporate lobbies and stubborn politicians who don’t dare to act? Do you want to learn how you can contribute directly and effectively to solve these problems? Come to our open meeting!

At Extinction Rebellion (XR) we take direct, effective and non-violent action to encourage our government to keep our world safe! In this open meeting, you’ll learn everything you need to know to contribute to this mission.

First, we will give an hour-long presentation explaining the climate and biodiversity crises, how disastrous the current course of action is according to recent scientific insights, how weak our government’s response is, what XR’s vision to solve these problems is, and why our direct actions are so effective in achieving this.

After a short break, we will explain how you can get involved in our mission. There are two mains ways to do so:

1. You can find a role in the organization. Delegates from the various local XR organisations in the Netherlands will be present to tell you what their tasks are, and how you can help. There are various possibilities, from media, to planning actions, to politics.
2. You can participate in actions. We will also explain how you can do this.
