Iedere maand houdt Extinction Rebellion een klimaatalarm. Zodra om 12:00 uur de sirenes afgaan, vallen de deelnemers van XR voor dood neer. Maandag 2 oktober is er weer een klimaatalarm, met deze keer het thema "Geweldloosheid"
De verenigde naties hebben 2 oktober als "dag van geweldloosheid" uitgeroepen. We hebben dit thema daarom gekozen, en omdat wij als Extinction Rebellion natuurlijk geweldloos actie voeren tegen het geweld dat onze planeet wordt aangedaan.
Dit geweld gaat ten koste van alle leven, ook de mensheid, en om daar de aandacht op te vestigen, en dat we het tij moeten keren, vallen wij tijdens het luchtalarm voor dood neer.
Locatie: Vismarkt Groningen (voor de AH)
Tijd: 11:45 verzamelen
Duur: de actie duurt tot ong. 12:15 uur, daarna koffie/thee samen voor wie wil.
Thema: Geweldloosheid
Als je een XR vlag hebt, neem hem mee, en vergeet ook niet je eigen kopje mee te nemen. Tot maandag!

Every month, Extinction Rebellion holds a climate alarm. As soon as the sirens go off at 1200, the participants of XR drop for dead. There will be another climate alarm on Monday, October 2, this time with the theme "Nonviolence"
The United Nations has declared October 2 as "Day of Nonviolence". That is why we have chosen this theme, and because we as Extinction Rebellion naturally take non-violent action against the violence being done to our planet.
This violence is at the expense of all life, including humanity, and to draw attention to this and that we must turn the tide, we fall for dead during the air raid siren down.

Duration: the action lasts until approx. 12:15, then there is coffee/tea for those who want it.
