NVDA Training (EN)

In the run for the next action to Stop Fossil Subsidies on the A12 in The Hague we organise an action training on the 18th of april in Enschede. If you want to participate in civil disobedience (with a chance of arrest), it is important to follow an action training. After this training you will also be better equiped to decide whether or not you want to participate in an action at all.

During this training you will learn:

🌻how to prepare for an Extinction Rebellion action;
🌻what you can expect during an action;
🌻what non-violence means for you personally and within XR;
🌻how a simple blockade can be formed;
🌻what affinity groups and fingers are and how they function within an action;
🌻how an arrest is performed and how you can deal with police presence;
🌻what the legal consequences of an action can be;

This training will start at 18:00 and takes three hours (incl. break). Legal aspects will be handled during this training but bear in mind that not all questions can be answered by the trainer. So going to a legal briefing before an action is recommended. The training will be in english.
