Maak jij je ook zorgen om de klimaat- en ecologische crisis? Ben je klaar met toekijken hoe politici en bedrijven ons naar de afgrond leiden?
Zoals je weet pakken we het bij Extinction Rebellion anders aan. We gaan voorbij aan klimaatmarsen en petities, en bouwen een massabeweging die het tij kan keren. En in deze bijeenkomst leer je hoe je op een manier die bij jou past mee kan rebelleren!
De bijeenkomst is online via zoom. De eerste en derde (en vijfde) zondag van de maand zijn in het Nederlands, de tweede en vierde in het Engels.
DEEL 1: Het eerste uur hebben we het over de klimaat- en ecologische crisis, met uiteraard ruimte voor interactie. Het is erger dan je denkt, maar geen zorgen: je hoort ook over Extinction Rebellion, en hoe wij denken het verschil te kunnen maken.
DEEL 2: Bouw mee aan XR! In deze sessie leer je hoe jij je met een paar uurtjes per week in kan zetten op een manier die bij je past. Als manusje van alles bij je lokale groep, of juist als specialist bij een nationale kring: van juridische of mentale ondersteuning tot het organiseren of promoten van acties en evenementen, en nog véél meer.
Ben je alleen nieuwsgierig naar XR? Dan kan je ook naar alleen het eerste deel komen. Ken je deel 1 al? Dan ben je van harte welkom om slechts voor het tweede gedeelte om 15.00 uur aan te sluiten! Tot dan! En, kan je nou niet wachten om in actie te komen? Nodig dan je vrienden of familie uit om samen mee te doen, en help zo de beweging alvast te groeien!

Are you also worried about the climate and ecological crisis? Are you done standing idly by as politicians and businesses lead us to a 4-degree world?
As you're aware, Extinction Rebellion has a special approach. Going beyond climate marches and petitions, we are building a mass movement that can turn the tide. In this meeting you'll learn all about how to rebel in a way that suits you!
The meeting is online via Zoom. The first and third (and fifth) Sunday of the month are in Dutch, second and fourth in English.
PART 1: We'll start the first hour taking a deep dive into the climate and ecological crisis, with room for interaction of course. It's worse than you think, but don't worry: you'll also hear about Extinction Rebellion, and how we think we can turn this ship around.
PART 2: Start organising! This session is all about how you can contribute a few hours, in a week in a way that suits you. As an all-rounder in your local group, or as a specialist with a national circle: from legal or mental support to organizing or promoting actions and events - and much, much more.
Are you curious about XR, but don't want to help organise? Then you're more than welcome to only join the first part. Do you already know part 1? Then by all means join for the second part at 3 pm!
