Stop YARA – Vrijdag 27 maart:<\/h4>\n

Mars en demonstratie tegen kunstmestproducent YARA en de Provincie Zeeland.<\/p>\n

12:00 – Verzamelen Station Middelburg

12:30 – Speeches en performances bij het provinciehuis<\/p>\n

YARA is een van de grootste vervuilers van Nederland. Bij de productie van kunstmest uit fossiel gas ontstaan enorme CO\u2082-emissies die klimaatverandering versnellen. Bovendien heeft de grote ammoniak- en stikstofuitstoot van YARA in Sluiskil een zeer schadelijke impact op de natuur in Zeeuws Vlaanderen. En dat doen ze zonder geldige vergunning.<\/p>\n

De Hoge Raad heeft in december 2024 al bepaald dat YARA vanwege de stikstofuitstoot een nieuwe milieuvergunning moet aanvragen. Gedeputeerde Wilfred Nielen erkent de uitspraak van de Hoge Raad, maar weigert daarop te handhaven.
\nDat is onverantwoord bestuur. Wij volgen de rechtszaak van MOB tegen deze gang van zaken op de voet!!<\/p>\n
