Our Wasteless Culture Mondays offer a welcoming community to dine with and of course, plant-based meals made from rescued foods. With us you always pay-as-you-feel! The new twist is that every Monday dinner features a co-created performance, workshop, discussion or screening. We offer a platform for filmmakers, organisations, musicians, performers and other creative minds to share their ideas. Come see for yourself and bring your friends along!

TBYW x Extinction Rebellion – Heading for extinction and what to do about it!

A member of the climate action group Extinction Rebellion will be joining us at our Monday dinner to lead a talk and discussion on up-to-date climate and ecological science in order to provide clear information on the emergency our planet is in.

The talk itself will be approximately 30 minutes, with plenty of time for discussion afterwards.

The aim is to also reflect on our emotional and practical response to this climate emergency, proposing the act of non-violent civil disobedience as focal for the progression of the climate movement.

The talk acts as both a wake-up call and a mobilising mechanism; with the hope of getting people to join Extinction Rebellion and participate in the international week of rebellion being organised for mid-April.

TBYW intersects with Extinction Rebellion as an organisation due to our shared goals of fighting against climate injustice. We hope that by overlapping our ideals we can provide productive solutions to working against the current ecological crisis.

Bring your thoughts and ideas for a productive discussion, we look forward to seeing you this Monday!

Note: We strive to serve all our food at the end of the evening to live up with our “wasteless” concept. The most effective way to do so is to provide a first-come-first-served service. Therefore, it is not necessary to reserve a table, however it is best to come between 18:30 and 19:00 to secure your spot and let the rest of the evening run smoothly.
Our program consisting of talks, discussions and screenings will start at 20:00 every week. We would like those who do not wish to take part to please bear in mind to keep the noise level low from 20:00 onwards.
