Wil je meedoen met de acties van XR, dan is het zeer aan te raden van tevoren een Actietraining gevolgd te hebben. Het maakt niet uit of je aan acties wil meedoen met een hoog risico op arrestatie, of laag risico op arrestatie. En ook als je dat voor jezelf nog niet helder hebt, is deze training dé plek om daar achter te komen.
Tijdens de training leer je alles over:
– hoe het is om mee te doen met een XR-actie en hoe we die organiseren,
– wat een Affiniteitsgroep is en wat het nut is tijdens een actie,
– wat de juridische gevolgen zijn van burgerlijke ongehoorzaamheid,
– hoe we bij XR aankijken tegen geweldloosheid en waar jij zelf de grens trekt,
– de-escalatietechnieken die je kunt inzetten.

Voertaal is Engels, waar nodig zal voor vertaling gezorgd worden.

De training begint om 13:00 uur en gaat door tot 17:00 uur, inclusief affiniteitsgroepvorming.

It’s really important to follow an action training, before joining an action. This training will prepare you for both bigger and smaller actions.
If you want to join actions with XR, it’s strongly recommended to follow an Action training beforehand. It doesn’t matter if you want to join actions with a high or low risk of arrest. And if you’re not sure yet if and how you want to join actions, this training is the way to get enough information to find out.
During the training you’ll learn all about:
– what it’s like to join an XR action and how we organise them,
– what an Affinity Group is and what the use is during the action,
– what the legal consequences of civil disobedience are,
– how XR looks at nonviolence and where you draw the line,
– de-escalation techniques you can use.

This training will be in English (translation will be provided where necessary).

The training will start at 13:00 and continue until 17:00, including affinity group forming!
