CIRCLE OF ACTIVE HOPE
Birthing a Regenerative Culture
facilitated by Marjorie Lumet

Intention:
By hosting regular live gatherings, my Active Hope is to weave together a community of changemakers and life lovers who feel called to contribute to the healing of our world. Through support, connection and practice, my Active Hope is to empower our unique contributions to create ripple effects of positive change. I believe this transformation towards a life sustaining culture is our greatest mission at this time on the planet.
For you: That you feel supported and inspired in clarifying and empowering your unique contribution to a more balanced, wholesome and sustainable way forward.
For me : Contributing to empower a way forward that regenerates me, my community and the natural world is my intention through offering these circles.
For us : Birthing and anchoring a regenerative culture, honouring and serving the intelligence of Life that moves through everything.
details & structure
1/ Live Gatherings
Dates: Thursday 23 March, 20 April, 25 May, 22 June from 18h30 to 21h
Location: Amsterdam (Studio near Vondelpark and Nemoland)
2/ Partner Practices in Between Circles
A partner practice in pairs every month between each gathering (this can be done online or in person depending on your preferences & availability)
3/ Co-facilitation
If you have experience with deep ecology practices or related work and wish to co-facilitate a session or a practice, you are very welcome to - please reach out! If you don't have experience but feel a strong call to contribute some content or resources these are also very welcome. I’d love for these gatherings to evolve into a co-creation.
4/ Costs
We will share the costs for renting a space, which is €50 per evening; so if we are with 10 people, each of us pays €5 + €1 for tea and cookies.
5/ Donation
To support me and enable me to sustain myself and this offering, I will ask a donation from you at the end of the four gatherings. I have invested love, time & energy to train to facilitate this work and there is preparation time needed before each circle. I trust you to determine the amount aligned with the support you have received from the circle and what feels comfortable in your situation.
6/ More Context
Circles of Active Hope are an invitation to come on an adventure! They are an opportunity to experience deep ecology practices, based on the Work That Reconnects, over a period of 4 months.
This gives the time to integrate the practices that are helpful to you into your daily life and to deepen links with people that you share affinities with, supporting each other in your projects, to empower you as you play your part in creating a more sustainable and wholesome way forward.
During this journey, we will move through the 4 stages of the spiral of the Work that Reconnects : Coming from Gratitude, Honouring our Pain, Seeing with New Eyes, Going Fourth.
This approach is based on the work of Joanna Macy & Chris Johnstone who just released a new edition of their book : Active Hope : How to face the mess we're in with unexpected resilience and creative power
