Hey Rebels,
After some time with lower activity, XR The Hague wants to grow again. To help you get involved, we will have a Potluck dinner with affinity group forming at the Haagse Bos – respecting a safe distance, with some games and lots of fun! After having some food, we will present topics you might identify with and want to work on (e.g. arts, politics, community, rebellion week, growing movement,…). Later in the day, people with the same interests can form a brand new affinity group.
Affinity Groups (AGs) are small, self-organized autonomous groups that share a similar goal. AGs can perform non-violent direct actions (NVDA) but also organise artistic events, talk to politicians or mobilize people. Each AG is a distinct entity with its own name and key roles. AGs are a very important part in a decentralized movement to share workload and keep rebels motivated by working on a specific topic.
It’s a great opportunity for new and returning rebels to join!
