🔥🇧🇷 Global Solidariteitsactie voor de Braziliaanse Amazone en de Indigene Volkeren 🔥🌎

Als onderdeel van een wereldwijde actiedag gaan we vrijdag a.s. (10-09) een demonstratie / die-in houden bij de Braziliaanse ambassade in Den Haag (Mauritskade 19).

🌱Achtergrond:
Op dit moment worden het Amazone-ecosysteem en zijn inheemse bevolking ernstig bedreigd. De regering Bolsonaro wil verschillende wetten inbrengen die het afpakken van land en roofbouw aan de Amazone door de industrie nog makkelijker maken. Al weken kamperen duizenden indigenen al in Brasilia om hun leefruimte te redden.

Verslechtering van het Amazone-ecosysteem is een bedreiging voor al het leven op aarde. We moeten dit probleem onder de aandacht brengen en #StandWithAmazonia! ✊

🔥🇧🇷 Global Solidarity Action with Brazilian Amazon and Indigenous People🔥🌎

Coming Friday, 10-09, we will hold a demonstration /die-in at the Brazilian embassy in The Hague (Mauritskade 19) as part of a worldwide solidarity action.

🌱Background:
Right now, the Amazon ecosystem and its Indigenous people are under major threat. New major bills proposed by Bolsonaro aim to legalize land grabbing and favor extractive industries over Indigenous livelihoods. Thousands of Indigenous people are gathered in Brasilia right now, camping there, taking action and raising their voices to protect their home, which is also our home.

Deterioration of the Amazon ecosystem is a threat to all life on earth. We need to raise awareness to this issue and #StandWithAmazonia! ✊
