🌸✨Voor alle nieuwe rebellen die actief willen worden bij Extinction Rebellion, is er weer de Introductie lezing ‘Welkom bij XR’ ♥ 🌸✨

Ben je bij een Heading for Extinction talk geweest of volg je XR al langere tijd op de voet? Heb je het gevoel dat je meer wilt weten over hoe je je kunt bezighouden met XR en aan de beweging kunt bijdragen? Kom dan naar deze introductie-sessie en wordt deel van de beweging op je eigen manier! Geen verplichtingen, geen druk, iedereen is welkom!

✨Extinction Rebellion (XR) is een geweldloze actiegroep die door middel van verrassende en kunstzinnige acties onze medemens en overheden wakker schudt. De beweging is toegankelijk voor iedereen die zich zorgen maakt over het klimaat, verlies van biodiversiteit, vervuiling, noem het maar op. We zeggen iedereen omdat er binnen de beweging ruimte is voor zoveel verschillende soorten kwaliteiten en eigenschappen. Jouw hulp is daarom altijd welkom, aangezien ‘de tijd dringt’, daar zijn we het nu wel over eens. ✨

🌸Extinction Rebellion beseft ook heel goed dat klimaat rechtvaardigheid alleen behaald kan worden als er ook sprake is van sociale rechtvaardigheid. (Climate Justice = Social Justice).🌸

• Korte samenvatting van de XR normen en waarden
• Uitleg over de organisatie structuur / de verschillende cirkels (Media & Messaging, Outreach & Training, Action & Logistics, Regenerative Culture, Arts in Action, Political Strategy, Integration, Finance, Tech and Legal Team)
• Praten met verschillende leden van de circles. Ze kunnen precies aan je uitleggen wat ze doen en jij kunt al je vragen stellen. Sluit je bij een Circle aan, als je wilt!

Have you been to a Heading for Extinction talk or have you been following Extinction Rebellion for a while now? Have you got the feeling you would like to know more about what XR does and how you can contribute to the cause? Then please come to this introduction-session and get active within the movement in your own way! No obligations, no pressure, everyone is welcome!

✨Extinction Rebellion (XR) is a non-violent movement that tries to wake-up government and citizens by using surprising and artistic acts and performances. The movement is open to everyone that has concerns about the climate, loss of biodiversity, pollution, etc. We say “everyone” because within the movement there is room for so many different qualities and practices. Your help is welcome, ans since ‘time is running out’, it’s now more than ever. ✨

🌸Extinction Rebellion is also really aware that climate justice can only be reached when there is also social justice in the world (Climate Justice = Social Justice). 🌸

• Short introduction to XR’s priniples and values
• Explaination to the organisational structure / the circles (Media & Communication, Outreach & Training, Action & Logistics, Regenerative Culture, Arts, Political Strategy, Integration, Finance, Tech and Legal Team)
• Some time to talk to members of the circles. They can explain in more detail what the circle does and you can ask questions of course. Feel free to join the circle, if you want!
