Join for a session of what’s perhaps the easiest form of yoga and meditation to start and maintain: Yoga nidra, a Sanskrit term meaning “yogic sleep” is a deep relaxation technique and a form of meditation. Also called “psychic sleep,” yoga nidra is a state between sleeping and waking. The body is completely relaxed and the practitioner turns the awareness inward by listening to a set of instructions; much like a guided meditation. Yoga nidra practice results in deep relaxation and expands the individual’s self-awareness.
This session will last for about 30 – 45 minutes and can be done by anyone. All you need is a Zoom account, comfortable clothes and perhaps some pillows and a blanket – join us through https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88164298631 at half past 7 (or a few minutes earlier)!
