We protest the fast fashion industry, by giving away clothes to the shopping public.
On October 27th, as part of the International Guerrilla Fashion Action Weekend, we'll protest in front of various fast fashion stores in the Zoetermeer city center ("Stadshart"), against fast fashion.
The fashion industry is responsible for 8% of global CO2 emissions - more than all the planes and boats in the world combined! The industry is built on violating human rights and overproduction causes environmental pollution and climate damage. Fast fashion is killing us, and we demand an end to it.
During the demonstration, we'll spread that message with banners, flyers, speeches, songs, a quiz show and of course we'll also be handing out free second-hand clothing to the shopping public.
The action itself is from 2 PM to 5 PM. Preparation (optional) starts at noon. There are various low-risk and no-risk roles available.
