Tijdens het maandelijkse klimaatalarm vragen we met een vreedzame die-in aandacht voor de klimaatcrisis, gevolgd door korte speeches en gezamenlijke afsluiting.

During the monthly Climate Alarm, we draw attention to the climate crisis through a peaceful die-in, followed by short speeches and a shared closing.
KLIMAATALARM AMSTERDAM
Ir.B.Bijvoetsbrug bij het Spinozamonument,
Amstel 1, tegenover het Stadhuis,
Nederlands gesproken.
Op deze plek gebruiken wij het maandelijkse luchtalarm om de klimaatcrisis onder de aandacht te brengen.
Het thema is ‘WEG MET DE ZEECRUISESCHEPEN’
Om precies 12.00 liggen (of zitten) wij doodstil (zgn. DIE-IN) als het alarm afgaat.
Aansluitend is er een korte speech; waarin ook aandacht zal zijn voor oorlogen en genocide. We sluiten af met liederen.
Daarna is er de mogelijkheid om gezamenlijk iets te drinken en/of na te praten.
Het is een low risk actie. Het is een vriendelijke, vreedzame demonstratie en daarom geschikt voor nieuwe rebellen. We blokkeren niets. De actie is aangemeld bij de gemeente. Wees welkom. Aanmelden hoeft niet.

This is where we use the monthly alarm test to bring the climate crisis to people’s attention.
The theme is ‘STOP THE CRUISE SHIPS’.
At exactly 12.00, when the alarmtest starts, we lie down (or sit) dead (known as a DIE-IN).
Following on there is a short speech, which may include broader themes .
This is a low risk action. It is a friendly, peaceful demonstration, suitable for new rebels. We don’t block anything. The action is officially notified to the city council. You are welcome to join us, no need to register.
