After completing this training, you will be able to make an informed decision about whether you want to participate in an XR civil disobedience action.
If you want to participate in XR actions, it is highly recommended that you have completed an Action Training beforehand. It doesn't matter whether you want to participate in actions with a high or low risk of arrest. And even if you're not sure yet, this training is the place to find out.
During the training, you will learn everything about:
– what it's like to participate in an XR action and how we organize it,
– the legal consequences of civil disobedience,
– how XR views nonviolence and where you draw the line,
– de-escalation techniques you can use.
