New rebels are welcome

On 14 February, Valentine's Day, on the Mariaplaats, artist Frank de Conynck will saw a polar bear out of a block of ice - a statement of love for our planet and all its life. The polar bear and its melting symbolise global warming.

This action aims to raise awareness and inspire people to take action in a way that suits them.

🐻‍❄️ A permit has been granted by the municipality for this action. 🐻‍❄️

This action will be surrounded by various activities, there will be flyers and people where you can share questions and concerns.

Depending on how fast the polar bear melts, the action will last until 28 February at most. Want to participate on one of the days and stay informed? Join the Telegram channel!

❤️‍🔥 Drop by and let your heart melt, not the ice! 🌍✊
