Every Thrusday evening there's an Extinction Rebellion Amsterdam people's kitchen in the activist neighbourhood centre de Nieuwland. Beforehand, we work together to turn saved vegetables into a vegan meal. That way, we make a sustainable dinner and we get to know each other a bit better.
From 4pm onwards you can help with things like thinking of a recipe with the saved vegetables, doing groceries, cutting vegetables, cooking or making tea. Do you want to help on another Thursday? Then you can join our Signal chat or fill in your name in our vrijwilligersoverzicht (volunteer overview/schedule).
You only have to sign up for the food, not for cooking. You can simply walk in sometime between 4pm and 6.30pm and help out. If you're a bit on the late side or we've finished earlier than usual, then you can always still help by serving the food or simply join us for dinner.
