Welkom/integratieworkshop en actietraining

Op zaterdag 2 maart a.s. organiseren we een welkom/integratie workshop en actietraining.

Tijdens de welkom en integratie workshop krijg je inzicht in waar wij voor staan, hoe onze beweging in elkaar zit en vooral waarom! Ontdek ook op welke manier jij persoonlijk een waardevolle bijdrage kunt leveren. Sluit vooral ook als je niet meer ‘nieuw’ bent, maar je draai nog niet helemaal hebt gevonden.
Het programma zal er ongeveer zo uit zien:
1.    Kennismaking, wie ben je!?
2.    Wat houdt je bezig qua klimaat – groep-sharing!
3.    Introverhaal stand van zaken qua klimaat
4.    Uitleg XR opzet en doel
5.    Uitleg XR Limburg met cirkels/nieuwsbrief etc.
6.    Wat zijn je verwachtingen en wat zou je willen doen

Hierna volgt een actietraining om je voor te bereiden op vreedzame burgerlijke ongehoorzaamheidsacties met Extinction Rebellion. Wil je meedoen aan acties waar een risico op arrestatie bestaat, dan is het raadzaam om deze actietraining te volgen. Bovendien geeft het je de kans om te ontdekken of je wil deelnemen aan komende acties.

Je kunt zelf kiezen aan welke training(en) je meedoet. We zullen alle trainingen zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels geven (in aparte parallelle sessies).

On Saturday, March 2nd, we are organizing a welcome/integration workshop and action training.

During the welcome and integration workshop, you will gain insight into what we stand for, how our movement is structured, and most importantly, why! Discover how you can personally make a valuable contribution. Feel free to join even if you are no longer 'new,' but haven't quite found your way yet.

The program will look like this:
1. Introduction, who are you!?
2. What concerns you about climate - group sharing!
3. Introduction to the current state of the climate
4. Explanation of XR setup and goal
5. Explanation of XR Limburg with circles/newsletters, etc.
6. What are your expectations and what would you like to do

Afterwards, there will be an action training to prepare you for peaceful civil disobedience actions with Extinction Rebellion. If you want to participate in actions where there is a risk of arrest, it is advisable to attend an action training. Moreover, it gives you the chance to discover if you want to participate in upcoming actions.

You can choose which training(s) you participate in. We will provide all trainings in both Dutch and English (in separate parallel sessions).
