✊On May 25th and 26th, rebels throughout the Netherlands will head into fashion stores, hang up some secondhand clothes to give away, and sneak out again without being noticed. Attached to the clothes will be tags with information about the harmful industry that's called fast fashion.

🏭The fashion industry is responsible for 8% of all global greenhouse gas emissions. Workers are treated inhumanely throughout the production line, and 85% of all clothes produced are thrown away or burnt within a year. XR Guerilla Fashion holds the companies accountable for the destruction they cause. At the same time, we show the world how it should be: fashion stores should be full of free, sustainable clothing!

🌱This action is perfect for people who want to have a positive climate justice impact, but don't really like to get arrested. We don't do anything remotely illegal, but spread awareness to tens of thousands of people.

🏷️There are several (very) low-risk and no-risk roles. We will need a lot of secondhand clothes, so even if you don't join the action itself, you can help out!

✊Op 25 en 26 mei, zullen rebellen door heel Nederland kledingwinkels instappen, tweedehandskleding ophangen om weg te geven, en onopgemerkt weer naar buiten glippen. Aan de kleren zitten labels met informatie over de schadelijke industrie die fast fashion heet.

🏭De mode-industrie is verantwoordelijk voor 8% van de wereldwijde broeikasgasuitstoot. Arbeiders worden over de hele linie onmenselijk behandeld, en 85% van alle kleren wordt binnen een jaar weggegooid of verbrand. XR Guerilla Fashion houdt de bedrijven verantwoordelijk voor wat zij vernietigen. Tegelijkertijd laten we de wereld zien hoe het zou moeten zijn: in modewinkels zou gratis, duurzame kleding moeten hangen!

🌱Deze actie is uitermate geschikt voor mensen die wel een positieve invloed op klimaatrechtvaardigheid willen hebben, maar liever niet gearresteerd willen worden. We doen niks strafbaars, maar onze boodschap bereikt wel tienduizenden mensen.

🏷️Er zijn verschillende (very) low-risk-rollen en no-risk-rollen. We hebben een hoop tweedehandskleding nodig, dus zelfs als je niet meedoet met de actie, kan je nog steeds helpen!
