Actie training (NVDA)

We organiseren op dinsdag 23 mei een actietraining in Leeuwarden. Deze training is 100% geschikt voor deelname aan XR-acties zoals de komende A12 Blokkade, en ook voor acties met een laag of hoog risico in Friesland!

Als u wilt deelnemen aan de acties van XR, is het zeer aan te bevelen vooraf een actietraining te hebben gevolgd. Ongeacht of je wilt deelnemen aan acties met een hoog arrestatierisico of niet. En ook als je dat voor jezelf nog niet duidelijk hebt, is deze training de plek om daar achter te komen.

Tijdens de training leer je alles over:

🔴 hoe het is om deel te nemen aan een XR-actie en hoe we die organiseren,

🔴 wat een Affinity Group is en het nut ervan tijdens een actie,

🔴 wat de juridische gevolgen zijn van burgerlijke ongehoorzaamheid,

hoe wij bij XR tegen geweldloosheid aankijken en waar je de grens trekt,

🔴 de-escalatietechnieken die je kunt gebruiken.

Toegankelijkheid: we verwelkomen je om contact op te nemen als je je zorgen maakt over de toegankelijkheid van de locatie en we zullen ons best doen om ervoor te zorgen dat het voor iedereen mogelijk is om deel te nemen ondanks (fysieke) beperkingen. Ahead of the next blockade of the A12 in The Hague (27 May), we are organising an Action Training in Leeuwarden on Tuesday, 23 May. This training is also 100% suitable for participation in other actions. This training will be given in English, although each participant can express their thoughts, comments or questions in their language of choice.

If you want to participate in XR’s actions, it is highly recommended to have had an Action Training beforehand. Regardless of whether you want to take part in actions with a high risk of arrest or not. And even if you don’t have that clear to yourself yet, this training is the place to find out.

During the training you will learn all about

🔴 what it is like to take part in an XR action and how we organise them,

🔴 what an Affinity Group is and its usefulness during an action,

🔴 what the legal consequences of civil disobedience are,

🔴 how we at XR view non-violence and where you draw the line,

🔴 de-escalation techniques you can use.
